Hi, Vendio:

If I wasn't so tired and stressed right now, I might be able to figure out why one of the links in my ads is not showing up. But could you please look and let me know why my flashing "Open" sign is not showing up. I thought maybe the uploaded image had for some reason expired, but it was still showing up in images. Please let me know what is wrong. Thanks for your help in this matter.

Hello,

If this is the graphic your referring to, it does appear to be currently loading when im testing this:

Hi,

It's not loaded in your reply and in any of my listings and I've done nothing to change anything. Please check my listings and notice that it is not showing.

Thanks!

Hello,

I checked a number of your active listings and I am having no trouble viewing the gif. Try accessing it directly here -- if you can't get it to load, you may want to try the usual clearing of the cache and rebooting your computer.

Hello again,

I just checked the gif in Internet Explorer and it doesn't appear to be working -- I am assuming that is what you are using to view it. I originally viewed it in Firefox and it was coming up perfectly. There is probably something different about the gif format this is saved in. Did you create this yourself -- what did you use to create it?

Hi, Sonya:

I really don't know how to answer your question. I've had it working perfectly for a couple of years now. Then all of a sudden it's gone! I've done nothing different - haven't touched it since I added it a couple of years ago. Can you figure it out?

Thanks!

Hello,

This is a rather strange one.

When viewing this image within firefox by itself, it displays and does flash (an animated GIF file) properly.

In this forum when linked to, and when viewing in firefox, I can only see the image without blinking or flashing at all.

When I view this forum or your active eBay auction in Internet Explorer, the image does not load at all.

If I view the image by itself from within Internet Explorer, I still cannot view the image.

Next, I downloaded the image to my local computer. I CAN use the windows picture viewer to display the image properly and it will flash without problems.

The problem is that even when I can view this offline in Windows, if I try to open the image from Internet Explorer (basically eliminating both eBay and Vendio from the scenario) it still will not display.

The image itself may be corrupt in some way. Try deleting the image from your image hosting page in Vendio and uploading a new copy of it.

If this persists you may want to try simply opening the file in MSPaint and re-saving it as a GIF image. This will remove the animation from it, but then it shouldn't have issues being displayed in either browser/location.

Christopher

Well, I made a copy of the Open sign and it seems to be working. If you go into one of my pending auctions that I haven't scheduled, you can see what it looks like. But for some reason, it's really small. Can you tell me how I can make it bigger? I also am having the same problem with the gif in my eBay store - really weird.

I never got an answer for my last question about making my Open sign bigger. Can you tell me how? Any help would be appreciated. I had to change out the gif in my eBay store. I have no idea why these just stopped working.

Hello,

Any image editing program would typically work to change the size of the graphic, but keeping it to where it's animated might be tricky.

You can open the image in MSPaint and use the editing tools to stretch the image to a larger size, but that will most likely kill it's current animation.

I checked the original size of your graphic, which is 143 x 57 pixels, and it appears to match what is in your currently active items as well. FYI

Christopher
