I just signed up for Vendio Reviser with the intention of adding to the description of all my store items. I THINK I did it right and yet I am not seeing the revisions. Can you check to see if it worked? I don't want to add the same thing twice...if I did something wrong please let me know! How long does it take for the revisions to go through (I got confirmation at the top that the revision was "scheduled" but never did see any listing of items being revised - there should be about 6000 of them). HELP this needs to be done on or before Jan 15!!

Hello,

When I checked the revise history it shows that no items were found that match your criteria.

Try running your revise tool again, making note of the criteria specified - if it is unable to make the changes again please let us know what the criteria being entered is made up of.

Christopher

Ok I tried it again. Last night (or I should say in the wee hours this am) I did not get a list of my active listings (didn't know I was supposed to) but now I have them. Hoping it will work now.

I am revising all of my active ebay store items.

Hello,

That makes more sense now. When you first enable the revise tool there is a little delay to when the items are imported into this tool and become available for edit.

I don't know what order this thing goes in and I assume it takes awhile to get through my listings but I don't see the revision anywhere. Can you confirm it worked this time (Criteria was to sort by venue - ebay store items.) Thanks

I think it didn't work..I set the criteria and I said I wanted t revise the description at the end..I typed out the revision and previewed it and then clicked "revise"..is that all there is to it or do I have to check ALL 5700 store items manually (please say no)???? The instructions are not very clear!

Hello,

The number of items matching the find criteria cannot exceed 1000 unfortunately.

Try setting up an auto-revise rule that will include all of these listings in its criteria to make these changes Vs using the find and replace option.

OK I figured out a way to break them down in the "find" application.
I am revising items that meet the following criteria:
Ebay store items
time left is less than 30 days
time left is more than 28 days.
It said I had 444 eligible items.
I pasted in the verbage for the description I want added at the end of the listing, previewed and then hit "revise"
I got confirmation.
Next I tried to "find" store items less than 28 days and less than 25..it said I had 605 eligible items. I pasted in the revision and previewed and hit "revise" - got an error that said I could only do one revision at a time.
When I checked on history I found that there was "error 500 - connection problems".
What does that mean and how many of my items were effected?

LOL I hope you don't mind the step-by-step...
It looks like just one item errored out and I started the revision of the 605 items 25-28 days. I waited a bit and then tried to go to 23-25 (another 355) but got the message that I had to wait again. I think we need something to tell us when the revision is finished!

THIS IS GREAT! Once I figured out how to use it on this scale, it works like a charm!
