I had a customer just complain that they received a payment reminder, after they had already paid via PayPal. I have not even setup the feature of automatic payment reminders.

Hi there,
This can happen if you uncheck step #3 and the item is outside the timeframe specified for payment reminders in My Account -> Post Sale Management. Did you uncheck any of the steps in this listing at any time?

Thanks for your quick reply. No, I didn't uncheck anything. I got a PayPal email that the money was received, and then later the email from the customer. She sent the message she had received, and it was the exact text I had set up for payment reminders.

I have had this happen repeatedly when the customers have already received their items. Sometimes 6-10 people a day. Then it doesn't happen for a week or two and then will start all over with a new group of customers. Nothing is unchecked, in some cases feedback has already been left as well. It's a pain to have to email all these people and tell them that I didn't send the email, that the auction management software went wacky. Some of them are quite irate that I am "accusing" them of not having paid for their item.
