Hello,

Are you creating your items from within the Inventory section of your online Sales Manager?

If so, and if you have provided a SKU number it should print.

If there are any items that are not that I can use as a test/example please let me know.

Regards,
Christopher

christopher--i create my auctions in the regular lister than go into the inventory and add a sku# and save it. all my items in inventory have a sku#. i currently have 8 items closed now and none of them print a #. here is an auction item number for an example: 5079569757. and i also do have the box checked in post sale preferences to print the sku.

please ge back to me about this a.s.a.p.

Hello,

As long as you launch the items directly from inventory, the SKU should appear.

If however you saved the listing that you did from the Sales Manager page TO inventory, rather than actually launch the item directly from the inventory page, the SKU will not show as the invoice isn't connected to that specific inventory item.

Christopher

YES BUT WHEN YOU GO INTO INVENTORY AND ADD A SKU# TO A PARTICLULAR ITEM IT ASKS YOU TO SAVE IT. IT SHOULD BE LINKED TO THE ITEM AT THAT POINT. NOT?--IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE SKU# COULD BE ENTERED RIGHT INTO THE SALES MANAGER LISTING AS IT IS BEING CREATED.

Hello,

When you enter a SKU number on an item in inventory, that inventory item is now going to use that SKU - that part is correct.

The question is where the item you launched originally is coming from.

You have either created and launched an item from the Sales Manager page using the eBay link under the heading 'create listing'

OR - you went into inventory, created a new item for eBay from here and then launched said item to eBay.

If your doing the latter, then the SKU should print.

If your simply saving a copy of your item into inventory and not actually launching the item directly FROM inventory, the SKU will not print.

Note that one of the possible upgrades we listed in the survey was the ability to list the SKU on the regular listing page. I

Regards,
Christopher

let me see if i understand--can i create an auction in sales manager with the "create listing" and just save it into inventory, NOT launch it. then go into inventory and assign a sku# and launch from inventory ??

christopher--i just answered my own question, i took 15 listings that were pending and cancelled them. i went into inventory and launched them as you said. i seen the qty numbers change as auction was launched. i understand NOW completely what you were telling me. i can't wait to see what happens when these auctions close--thanks for your understandig--mike
