hi--i have numerous auctions listed at the present time, that should have 6 images in them, yet they only have 4. sales manager allows you to add 6+ images when you are making the listing. E-bay even allows more than that. i know that i had auctions on e-bay before with more than 4 listings. some of the most important images that best show my items are being left out. could someone from vendio please get back to me???

mswsr1 - Have you gone into one of these listing's and tried to edit it? If not do a revise your item and check in the description section and make sure that the HTML code is present for all your photo's. If there is only code for 4 photo's that's the problem. Copy and paste in your image location into the HTML. If the code is there for 6 photo's you may want to check where you have your images stored and make sure everything is ok. Is there anything in your listing's where the missing photo's should be?

On another note. There is no limit to how many images you can add with Vendio Sales Manager. I have had up to 600, yes six hundred photo's in one listing before.

Hi there,

Please note that a limitation of Sales Manager (Merchandising Edition) inventory is that you can only attach 4 images to your items. To add more, you can schedule the listings out, unschedule them in pending, and add the images once they're unscheduled.

Thanks,

Diana

Is there a chance that this will get improved on in the near future?? I create my listings in sales manager and save them to inventory with a sku number, so when i launch them the sku number is attached to the auction. I use this so at the end of auction, it is easier to pick the item off of the shelf to ship, since all of my items are numbered. It just seems like more work to launch an auction, then unschedule it, add more pics and schedule it again. Is there no other way around this? Is this like this in Sales Manager only ??

Hello,

It is only like this in your current version of the Sales Manager. The newer Inventory Edition of the Sales Manager (no cost difference) does not have this limitation.

Given your current method for listing, it may be a good idea to make the switch.

If you do switch and decide you hate it, you can simply switch back without losing anything you had prior to the switch. (if you made anything in the new system you would lose that when you switched back.)

You can change your edition via the My Account page, under the My Service Plans link.

Or just click 'here' to visit the page where you can switch.

Regards,
Christopher
