I like to know when it was mentioned that unsold dutch auction items do not show up in the closed section of sales manager as unsold, to be re listed??????????

Or is that just another quirk of this system ?????????????

I spent the last 4 hours going line for line to see why items are not selling. Well they are not selling because they are not listed there to be sold!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sell a lot of stuff and I am not making any money when i have to spend nearly a day to see if the items listed are there.

Will this system ever be able to support the e-bay sales process or are we just going to have it work as a picture server??????

Sell items for best offer oh wait, not yet.

Sell multiple items in a bid , wait you have to wait a half hour to check out.

Something closes maybe it will show up here.

Somebody pays with paypal oh better check there because it may not be on the list.

Ebay is going to be making and is now making some major changes and we can't even get the old stuff to be consistently working!

what am i doing wrong that i can not get my selling process to be somewhat i say somewhat seamless?

I sound angry because i am spending more time in reverse with this than moving forward.

if you need more staff hire some people but get this system to work please. i know it can because it use to.

Hello,

Unsold items should be available to relist via the closed section.

If you have an unsold dutch item that isn't in the closed section and should be, please let us know the item number effected so we can take a look at it for you to see if there is anything that needs to be done differently.

Christopher

I HAD 133 ITEMS THAT DID NOT SHOW UP. I AM NOT GOING TO LIST THEM, IT WOULD BE VERY TIME CONSUMING.

WHEN I GET A LARGE COLLECTION OF ITEMS IN MANY TIME THERE ARE 3 OR 4 OF EACH OF THE SAME. THE DUTCH AUCTION STYLE SEEMS TO GET THEM SOLD. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. I THINK THAT THE SALES LOOK SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE ONE OR MORE SELLS. THEN WHAT HAPPENS TO THE REST IS UNKNOWN TO ME.

SO I HAVE TO GO AND LOOK FOR THEM. TIME CONSUMING. IT SEEMS THAT THEY REMAIN IN THE OPEN FILE OF THE VENDIO SYSTEM. AND UNLESS
==>I<==
REFRESH THAT AREA, THEY STAY THERE. SO IF I DO NOT DO THAT TILL I GET TO IT, I THEN DO NOT KNOW IF THEY ARE RE-LISTEED OR WHAT WHEN THEY APPEAR IN THE CLOSED FILE.

SO I MUST LOOK. I SHIPPED OVER 600 ITEMS IN FEBURAY SO WITH FINDING THE STUFF, THEN LISTING THEM AND THEN MASSAGING THE SYSTEM TO GET THEM PAID AND SHIPPED, I GET TO THE SYSTEM CHECK WHEN I CAN.

I MUST JUST REMEMBER THAT WHEN I DO SELL THAT WAY I CAN NOT DEPEND THAT THE SYSTEM WILL BE AUTOMATIC.

IT IS MY FAULT TO HAVE ASSUMED THAT IT WOULD WORK ON ITS OWN.
THANKS

O BY THE WAY,

HERE IS ANOTHER THING THAT I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.

THIS MAY BE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

WHEN I RELIST UNSOLD STUFF I CLICK ON THE LITTLE BOX IN FRONT OF THE ITEM IN THE UNSOLD AREA.

I THEN VIEW IT MAKE ANY CHANGES NEEDED, THEN I RELIST IT. IT GOES INTO THE PENDING AREA THEN IN A FEW SECOND IT DISAPPEARS.

NOW HERE IS THE RUB.........

SOME OF THE ITEMS THAT ARE IN THE UNSOLD SECTION WILL AUTO ARCHIVE SOME WILL NOT.

SOMETIMES NOTHING, SOMETIMES A FEW. SO IF I AM BUSY I AM NOT SURE IF THEY ARE RELISTS OR ARE ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN RE LISTED.

ANY IDEA WHY THIS HAPPENS ALL OF THE TIME????

Hello,

If this is something your dealing with right now, and not just in general, we don't need 'all' the numbers, just one or two as an example.

Items are all auto-archived the same. Chances are your referring to items that are archived upon the relist function.

When you go to relist an item, you will see one of the three beside the item when you go to relist it, and this will be the indicator if it will be cleared from the closed section or not.

Relist Auction: This is the true relist, meaning it will qualify for relisting credit. In this case the original is removed from the closed section once relisted.

Relist (non-refundable) Auction: This item will remain in the closed section upon relist.
Relaunch (Copy) Auction: This item will also remain in the closed section upon relist.

Christopher
