I purchased a laptop from an Ebay seller called deboertel (goes by boilerbob1 on Vendio). He's got my $1000 but I never received the laptop and have not even gotten an e-mail from him since he received payment. I attempted to use EBay's mediation service but he never responded to them.
The worst part is that I was naive and allowed him to talk me into buying the item offline. At the time I did not know this was against EBay's rules. Well now I know WHY it's against the rules. I may never get my item or my money back although I'm trying. I just wanted to warn anyone from using this seller.

how did you pay him??
is he still on ebay??
do you have his physical address??
a mail fraud with post office or a complaint with his local police.
