Amazon used to be a fabulous venue for my items. Sales were around $3,000-$5,000 a month. The once Award Winning Amazon in terms of service...has become A JOKE.
The tech problems are endless. Then they lose your listings and send a laisse-faire email to you telling you your going to have to re-list them yourself. They have done this to me 4 times. Most recently they lost 75 listings and claimed not to have.
They also offered an option where you could link your item by simply typing in a keyword. This worked wonderfully. They took this away...WITHOUT NOTIFYING ANYONE. The never notify you of changes. You find out for yourself. Sales have dropped 90%. In my category there are 7,500 items. There are 21 bids now. They leave you the option to still link to books, etc..., but you have to look up the ISBN numbers yourself which is a joke also. NO ONE has that kind of time.
The Pro-Merchant Account is a sham. They will screw you every chance they get with one of their ridiculous updates which is often. I have been a professional dealer for many years and this is a joke. It is no wonder they are on the skids and ready to go under at anytime. The decison makers at Amazon are dumb enough to make your head spin. I have listed 1500 items. You are allowed 5000 with a Pro-Merchant. I, and many others have asked something of them over and over and it is obviously never going to be done: You get an email notifying you of your auction ending. The items automatically relist. Some day's you'll get 400 emails and it shuts down your email. It is a pain and they refuse to do anything about it.
BEWARE. Amazon is on a downward spiral. It is a shame...Jeff Bezos had a fabulous idea which is most assuredly going down the tubes. If you want your listings ruined, endless tech problems, changes without notification, and JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF THAT WILL WORK AGAINST YOU.....USE AMAZON. THEY WILL BE PERFECT FOR YOU.
To hell with you Amazon. You have taken your #1 Fan and one of the larger print dealers in the US and made not only a synic...but an enemy out of. I HAVE NEVER WINTESSED STUPIDITY like this in my life. Your inconsideration for your sellers is a joke. It will take you finally going down the tubes to realize this. You have wasted precious time of busy people with your idiotic changes.
