I hope u did not pay more than a dollar each for them sigh. If I were you I would wrap them in acid free paper and save them 10 years because then they will be worth real money

What's overpriced and a fad today can be overpriced in ten years and another collector fad. Watch the more rare beanies be worth mega in 20 years.

Yeah, but who has 20 years to wait on a maybe?
They are nothing but a few pieces of cheap velour sewn together. If it weren't for the craze, they never would have been worth more than 1.98 at K-Mart and there wouldn't have been any secondary market. The high values were always false; it had to end sooner or later. People are at long last coming to their senses.
Dump them now for whatever you can get, unless you like them enough to keep them for yourself.
There will be another craze coming along soon. Watch for it and perhaps you can get in on it early and make a killing.

I don't think most of them will ever be worth anything. But on the bright side. I have birthday presents for all those parties parents wait until the day before to send invitations for. Adult collectors may not want them very much but chilren still like them.

Years ago- maybe it was the late 1960's, there was a craze for Jim Bean Whiskey so-called ceramic collector bottles which the company capitalized on. Now you cannot give them away. Crazes come and go and without the momentum generating them, they fall flat and never revive. I would think beanie babies would fall into that catagory.

Beanie Babys are crap. A store that get them retail has had the brandy new ones...Bears even on the shelves for four or five days in a row. I bought and sold these for sometime and am glad to be rid of them. I actually had Princess and a few other good ones and sold them for 11 to 14 and others I sold for a complete loss at the beginning of this year. I was just happy to get them out of the way for other stuff I now sell. One of the new fads to look for are called Jumbies or something like that. They are half of one animal and half another. Very unusual looking.
