My 'search' isn't working, 'my eBay', etc.,

Why haven't they done something about this yet? It seems that eBay has been down more than up this month.

Is anyone else down?

And then back up again, 10 minutes after I couldn't get in.

Wonder if there will be anything on the Announcement board about it?

Yep, back up again.

They should rename it eba-yo-yo. Up and down, up and down.

I can't get to "My Ebay" either - doesn't it figure. The only auctions I've had listed for 10 days close this evening, and then they go down!

Yup, ending RIGHT NOW. One squeezed thru, then poof...no more. Geez. Will they extend them since nobody can get in to bid? Or is that only an hour before? Forgot, because so far I have lucked out and havent been hit. Guess it was my turn this time around, eh?

maui -- I think they only extend them if the outage is 2? hours or more. Stinks.

My auctions (30 of them) ended about 15 minutes ago ... just long enough to give me time to approve a Mister Lister batch, and when I was checking the last auction, things went *poof*.

Sorry it gotcha. I'm sure it'll be my turn again next time!

Maui,

It's my understanding the site has to be down completely -- that is, not even one person can place a bid -- for two hours before eBay will extend the auctions.

It's a policy that I absolutely do not understand. Never have. Makes no sense. Seems incredibly unfair. Yet eBay stands by it.

Announcement at 18:15:

"We are making some changes to the Daily Status Report function in order to provide email reminders to users that use the Watch feature. These changes necessitate a brief shut down of the feature and will result in Daily Status Reports being unavailable through early next week.

We will notify you as soon as the Daily Status Reports are again available."

(Guess more than Watch got shut down.)

Never fails. I'm not sure when they give credit for that.

Yep, I was going to guess 2 hours. That sounds right.

Now they've posted a msg stating the site is temporarily unavailable and to check the announcement post for updates. I have auctions ending within 2 hrs.
