Ooh, dangerous move. You might get by with the Precious Moments one, but I'm willing to bet the Mickey quilt would get slammed in a heartbeat - particularly as, since the figure's hand-painted, Disney didn't even get a cut on royalties for the fabric.
I think I mentioned before that on a quilt listserver I used to subscribe to, there were some real horror stories about folks using copyrighted-logo fabric, or selling things they embroidered using a purchased logo embroidery card for their sewing machine. Those things are for personal use only. The same goes for quilt patterns, other than of course traditional designs which are copyright-free. But nobody seems to go nuts over folks selling xeroxes of Kansas City Star patterns (printed in that paper during the '30s and '40s), and they're certainly under copyright. I dunno.
Technically speaking, copyright even covers dress patterns, which are also supposed to be limited to personal use. You can't, for example, pick up Simplicity 5039, make a Superman costume (or a plain old shirt), and then sell the costume or shirt. Dressmakers are supposed to get around this by having their customers purchase the pattern, which then becomes the customer's personal property, which they allow the seamstress to use for them only.
I'm not sure how heavily-policed quilts are (as opposed to Mickey collectibles), but I wouldn't risk listing it myself.

brookesmom: I did a search for "Mickey Mouse quit" and came across several. Some were just for quilt squares and were preprinted, but there was one that was obviously hand made (The Fantasia Mickey was stiched into it).
So, could be alright. I do know Disney is rather nasty about who is allowed to use their stuff.
A friend of mine sold a jean jacket that she had stiched a Mickey onto the back and didn't have any problems.

Disney,Coke and John Deere are three companies that will cause you big problems if you sell anything with their name which is not licensed to sell.
