I won a auction for $132.50 about a month ago. He never shipped the item and he is no longer a registered user. He has 17 "not sent items" in his feedback within the last month. I was wondering if there was any way I could get me money back from Ebay's faud insurance and how it works.
Thanks, Mike

Go to ebay's SafeHarbor Insurance & Fraud Prevention section at:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/insurance.html

and follow the instructions.

Hi. You should contact eBay ASAP. I got caught in a magazine subscription scam along with 34 other people. This person was slick. She told everybody it would take about 6 weeks to get the subscription going. Guess how many people she took in? I missed the insurance deadline, so eBay tells me to contact her! What should I say? "Uh, you ripped me off for $60, can I have it back?"

However, they did give me sites for the Postal Inspector and various consumer fraud units.

Now I watch all of my wins like a hawk!

Good luck, watch out for magazine subscriptions!
