I love it I love it I just won $$ 100.00 bucks from Paydirect the online service I use to take for Visa and other Credit cards for my auctions. NICE Christmas bonus. Went right into my account smooth as silk! How cool. $100.00 bucks I didn't have to do anything. It isn't much but it is very cool . Thanks Santa : ).
Here is the note I got from them anyway I thought I would bragg ; ) about my winnings a bit ! Since I awoke Lady my cat yelling hooray she tells me I have to share it with her <LOL>

I'd be happy if I could just accept the payments being made to me, but for some reason, PayDirect will not let me accept money sent using my verified yahoo email address. I was on the phone with customer service for 15 minutes, and they have no idea what is going on, either. They suggested that, since my verified yahoo email address wasn't working (for whatever reason), that I verify another address and try using it instead.

Hey has anyone won the $10,000 from PayPal yet? The $10,000 contest bribe they use to get you to pay with your checking account?

mrpotatoheadd - I have had this problem 3 times in the last 3 or 4 weeks. It is on the buyer's side. Not that the buyer is at fault in any way - just that it needs to be taken care of from their end, your account is very likely not the cause.
Here is the number I have for Paydirect:
PAYDIRECT(408) 731-3335...8AM - 6PM Pacific Time...7 days a week.
The first time was several weeks ago and is not resolved. The buyer is working with PD.
If you sign on you will find that are able to "refuse" the payment in question, and in my case I refused, and the other two people were able to send without a problem a day later.

and right after he won the $10,000, paypal shut his account down for fraud because he received too much money and that was suspcious. They also took 2.2% of the winnings.

verymodern-
Thanks for the suggestion, but when I talked to PayDirect this morning, they told me it was a problem with them, not something the buyer did. For some reason, my yahoo email address shows up as "dormant" (or some such nonsense) and cannot be used to accept any payments sent using it, although I received a payment to it as late as 12-4. They told me their engineering dept. was looking into it, and to have the buyer re-send the money to an alternate hotmail email address.
I was using the yahoo address because I am unable to use my regular email address for PayDirect payments. I cannot verify my regular address- I have tried several times, but their email with the confirmation code never shows up. Customer service is aware of the problem, but they don't seem to be able to do anything about it. Although my EOA plainly notes which address to use, half the people who use PayDirect start out by sending to my regular address, not the one in the EOA notice. This means I have to write back and have them cancel their original payment and re-send the money.
So now, I have to deal with a third email address, just to get paid through PayDirect. These online payment services are starting to become more work than they're worth.
