I thought this would be helpful to everone with questions on the new rates effective 01/07/01.
Below is how you get all the new rates. It's ten printed pages that your local post office dosen't have yet. When they do get it in ask for a copy of Notice 123, Ratefold dtd January 2001 It's an eight page folder my post office was glad to give me.
Go to this link; http://www.usps.com/ and click on New Postal Rates and go to the bottom of the next page and click on Click to visit our R2000-1 Rate Case page for more in-depth rate information. then click on New Rate Tables, Notice 123 then click Open It and the new rate table will come up. Click "File" and then "Print"
You will now get a ten page print out of all the new postal rates.

I ask for a new 123 Ratefold in the post office today and they don't have them yet.
They did offer me a nicely printed 3 x 5 card that had limited information printed on both sides. I declined.
I told the postmaster how to get a copy on the internet. She was very thankful.

Thanks from me too! I also went to the post office yesterday and they didn't have the rate folds in stock (must have been a surprise rate hike! LOL!) so being able to print one out was very useful. Does anyone know how to translate from "postalease" into English? What is the difference between "machinable" and "non-machinable" parcel post? When does library rate apply as opposed to Media rate? Any other hints or ideas on best strategies given the new rate structure?

Thank you Rampaged!
I can't tell you how many hours I spent looking for this information. I could only find partial lists from usps.com until you showed me the light! Hallelujah! = )
