I would like to start selling antique furniture on Ebay. But have no idea how to locate a company to pack and ship furniture. I would love any information anyone could give me.

If you are sending antiques I would contact a local museum. Museums often loan objects for shows or have touring shows themselves. Every museum I have ever been associated with has at least one person on staff who knows how to crate and ship objects and knows the best way to get stuff from here to there.
Keep in mind that no matter how it is done, crating and shipping of antique furniture is expensive. I shipped an antique sofa from Vermont to Washington DC and the cost was more than $500. This was one of three estimates too that ranged from $1500 to $400.

Hi...there is a place called Craters N' Freighters...i did have their email and web site, but I don't now.
You can email the dimensions and weight, they'll send you a quote to crate the object at your place and ship it...
They're pretty good...

Don't Know where you are located, but here in the East.We have a company called MAIL BOXES ETC. They deal with all carriers plus they pack and ship anything. They are a franchise Co. so they may be in your area! Check your Yellow pages or call information.
