I'm in the D.C. area and I keep getting a message that there IS NO hotmail site at the address for hotmail. Tried several times through different search engines and over aol and get the same. Has a hacker gone after microsoft/hotmail? Where is there info. on what's happening?

I was wondering about the hacker angle myself. Can't access MSN at ALL today, although I had Hotmail access yesterday. Yahoo! also seems to be having problems, and DutchBid Support is having to use an auxiliary email address.
always pickersangel everywhere

Hi Pickersangel,
I finally got in but it is as slow as molasses.
I didn't have any problems yesterday but have noticed others having problems on and off for the last few weeks.

This is the message I get in D.C. when I try to access off my bookmarked page on aol:
Sorry. No Such Address.
If you clicked on a link...
You may have found one of the millions of links to Web sites that have gone out of business or moved without leaving a forwarding address. It's like having the former address of someone you've lost touch with. Unfortunately, this is very common on the Internet. There's no remedy for this.
If you typed the address...
Make sure you type the address exactly as it was given to you.
Check the spelling.
Don't type any spaces.
Use slashes (/) instead of backslashes (\).
Some other things to try.
Dots are periods. If the address you were given is A-O-L dot com , you need to type aol.com
The prefix http://www. is so hard to say, that most people just skip it. Maybe your address needs http://www. in front. For example, If the address you were given is A-O-L dot com, try http://www.aol.com
Still no luck?
The address you have is probably wrong. Or maybe it was right, but the website you're looking for may have gone out of business or moved. Unfortunately, this is very common.

It is hhving some sort of router problems ... either it's not findable, or the server with the password validation is having problems.

I think a lot of sites are having problems. I can't access AOL at all and only certain sites on the internet(this being one of them!) and I can't access certain parts of eBAy all day..including feedback and announcements.
