Question.
Why is it when I go to Half.com, and click on the DVD Bargain Bin, they list hundreds of DVD's for $7.99 or less, but when you click on one, for example, the lowest priced item is $12.96 ?
I thought there was supposed to be at LEAST 1 item for under $7.99...

My assumption has always been that the search engine refreshes only a few times each day, much like eBay's. This causes inaccurate info to appear. In half.com's case, where the pricing info appears all over, this can really be irritating.
For instance, if you search on "The First Counsel", the search results shows 11 copies with $10.50 the cheapest. But clicking on the item page, there are only 5 copies and the cheapest is $15.25. $10.50's a great deal on that book so I'm sure it didn't last long.

If you aren't already using their Wish List feature, you might list the specific items you are looking for, and the price you are willing to pay. If you check the preference, they will send you an email when that item is listed. It has worked for me for several books that are seldom listed.
