I know someone on here knows what the diameter is on a 300 ft roll of 3/16" bubble wrap.

I am also wondering what the diameter is on a 150 ft roll (same kind as above).

I need to order some and don't know if a 300 ft roll would be too large for me to store when not in use.

Also I need a good source for strong boxes... 8" x 8" x 48" (at least in length)

I want to buy them in smaller lots (25 pieces at a time when needed)

Thanks

Not sure if he's got boxes, but check out seller parrothead88 .. great seller, excellent prices. Bubblewrap came in a great box (2 rolls in each .. dispenses from the box itself). Don't know diameter off hand .. can ask. I'd email him about boxes if he doesn't have any on his site. He has just about everything else.

Just a thought!

Try shippingsupply.com in ebay. Theirs come all on one roll in height. The most I've boutht at a time was four but it was like one stack of 50 ft rolls so it was tall and fairly narrow, easy to store in a closet. They have an 800 number in their listings with a live person on the phone, very helpful. I've called them directly when I don't want to go through pages and pages searching for the best deal. Very prompt delivery, I've been using them for about a year. They're not in a box, but you can take a roll at a time and put it in anyone's box. Boxes cost money.

Hi again,
I realized I ignored your box problem. I had started a thread about boxes wholesale a while back. It took me a while to find it again but folks gave me some great ideas and sources. Here's the URL for the thread. Hope it helps.

The last time I bought bubble wrap, I got 1/2 inch bubble that was 12 inches wide and perfed at 12 inches. It was on a roll of 250 total sheets. I think the full roll was about 4 feet wide if I remember correctly. A bit clumsy, but since it is so light, not too bad. Our shipping supplies are in our basement, so while sometimes in the way, not too bad.

I need to call the place I get it, I'm almost out of Bubble wrap and peanuts. I have a local supplier, the bubble was $12 a roll, the peanuts were $10 for a huge bag about the size of a small freezer. That works out to less than 5 cents per sheet, are there sellers on eBay that have it for less?

I buy 3/16 bubble that is perfed in one foot squares. 3pak.com ships 3 rools of 300 foot each for about $50. They stack 3 in a plastic bag and putm a band around them for UPS. They are about 2 foot in diameter and the whole package will just fit (with a pretty good shove) in the back seat of a Honda Accord.

Hello,

A 300' roll of small bubble should be 27" in diameter and the 150' roll should be 19" in diameter. The best bubble wrap we have found is from Gatorpack - he's on eBay and he has a web site gatorpack.com.

Bubble Wrap -- A 300' roll is about the same diameter as a large car tire. I get mine from shippingsupply.com. I've tried a couple of other sellers' bubble wrap, but it was thinner and didn't want to tear very easily. I'd rather pay an extra couple of dollars and get the really nice stuff.

Boxes -- www.uline.com They're fast shippers, have great prices, low minimums (usually 20 or 25 boxes), and reasonable shipping charges.

(Not associated with either, just a happy customer)
