A seller from Indiana told me to pay quickly, because at the end of the month, she has to pay Inventory taxes.
Is she telling the truth, or is it a tactic to get me to pay quickly?

Yes they are telling the truth if they run a true bussiness. I just moved out of Indiana in August after 12 years of living there. You should see all the cars that suddenly vamish off of the sales lots and magically show up at dealers lots across the state line the last couple days of february.

Yes there is a small bookstore nearby I like and he basically does not restock from after christmas until he does his inventory. The shelves go almost bare.
