Had a buyer who was high bidder on an auction on 1/17. No response to EOA emails so on 1/31 I file my NPB alert.
He responds and says he's mailing payment "ASAP".
2 more weeks go by, still no payment.
Today he gives me a neutral feedback saying "nice XXXXXXX, B+".
I email him and ask why he left me a neutral - or even ANY feedback since (1) I never received his payment which means (2) HE never received the item because I don't ship out until I receive payment.
He sends me a rude email saying he left a neutral because of all the emails ebay sent him that were prompted by me.
Ummm.... I only filed my ONE NPB alert so that's his problem?? A reminder to pay??
THEN, he sends me an email. It was a copy of the feedbacks HE had left - with all of our email addresses, and comments he said for each of us in this email. Here's what he said:
OK Just to prove to you that our company has left Positive Feedback. Look Below.... Those of you who receive this have not been polite in leaving some type of feedback for us like we promptly did for you....
And then below were all of our feedbacks that he left for us.
And no, he did NOT just send this to me. He MASS MAILED everyone who was in his feedback profile who had NOT left him return feedback.
So basically, he emailed ALL of us - telling us that we were not polite because we did not leave positive feedback for him, and he also gave us each other's private email addresses.
Not to mention, that he did NOT leave me positive feedback, he left me a neutral and expected a positive in return??
Don't you think it was wrong of him to email everyone and email each of us everyone's email addresses and address all of us as being "impolite" just because we hadn't left him feedback yet??

Rude and TACKY!! Well, atleast now you can leave him the negative that he deserves without fear of further retaliation!

Now that he's left his one feedback for the auction, file your FVF and neg him. Sounds like the guys a little bit off.
Move on and relist.

It was wrong by a lot in my opinion. Sending rude emails is one thing, but mass mailing and showing all the email addresses is way out of line.
You should let Safe Harbor know about this piece of work. Did you leave feedback for him yet?

sharkbaby: No kidding! For the longest time I've considered changing my ebay name to "moron-magnet"! LOL! Believe me, I get them all!
And yes, today was the 10th day since I filed my NPB so I will be doing that very shortly! I also did leave him a NEG for non-payment.
He now has all of 7 feedbacks.

Meya: Yes, I did email safe harbor immediately. I was not happy with the fact that he mass mailed all of us.
Begging for feedback is tacky in my opinion -but I can see emailing someone after the item has been shipped and just saying "if you're happy with your item please leave feedback" or something to that effect - but to do it on this level is just way out of line!

Well, he responded to his feedback saying he mailed payment on 2/7 by Priority Mail. (how convenient)
I responded saying this wasn't the first time he promised to send payment.
I didn't respond to the neutral he gave me so he's probably upset he can't comment on it! Oh well!

Ummm, ExecutiveGurl? Did he ever email you with the explanation that he had not sent payment because he was away on his solar-powered interstellar go-kart visiting family on Trafalmidor, because this one sounds like a real eBay ace....

I appologize for the lack of contact in regards to the spoatcoat.... my company has been swamped, and been working late hours. I really haven't had a chance to get the money order out to you. I'll drop it in the mail ASAP.......

Why don't you offer him one of those super-duper interstellar squirt guns you have instead of the sportcoat? Maybe he has some mutant kids somewhere that would like that.

I've just been emailed by someone else who was in that mass email and they said they never even received payment from this guy either and are filing for their NPB alert today and they are also forwarding that email to Safe Harbor!

This guy also just changed his ID so he now has the shades next to his name and then the (private) next to that for his hidden feedback.
Looking over the feedbacks he's left, he's a real nit-picker. Bunches of "good deals" comments with a B+ or even C+ next to it. Some say things like "good delivery time, not thrilled C+".
Will keep an eye out to see how many more NEGS he receives.
