What nerve! I was grocery shopping at Kroger yesterday and asked what forms of payment were accepted. I got a list that included personal checks, cash, an assortment of credit cards and debit cards. Not one mention of PayPal, BidPay, Energy Flow, BillPoint or any of the so called "popular" payment methods. I have decided to boycott all grocery stores until one of them accepts MY preferred method of payment which is PAYPAL!
Geez, you would think these big brick and mortar stores would get with the program. If everyone requested PayPal at Kroger the world would be a better place.
The above brought to you by dixiebee who has had one too many people ask her why she doesn't accept PayPal!

I've paid Albertsons, Walmart, eBay, BP, and the USPS with my PayPal funds via PayPal's debit card.
One nasty little trick I've figured out is how to give my wife the debit card and limit how much she can spend. I send a PayPal payment to an email address I have that isn't registered with PayPal. That instantly lowers the balance to a level I select, then I give the card to my wife and tell her the limit. When I get the card back I can cancel the unclaimed transaction and the funds are restored to their previous level.
The only problem would be if a payment comes in while she has the card. I haven't figured an easy solution to that yet. Deleting and restoring the email tied to my eBay account takes to much time.
Before you think me evil I should tell you my wife cost me a small fortune when she had a credit card... never again.

I was going to ask them for their e-mail address and when I got home -- and when I felt like it -- I would e-mail them my PayPal payment. I'm sure they would hold my order indefinitely until I got around to e-mailing them the payment. Of course, they would have to set up their premier business account first which I am sure they would do just to be able to accept every form of payment on earth.
I don't have a PayPal debit card either, nor do I plan to get one.
