I have a bidder who I think was a Non Paying bidder on my items before but it's got the Shades next to the ID. Is there a way to find out what his previous ID was?

Just click his current ID and go from there.
Just remember a lot of members are changing their ID's to keep their email address off the auction page as per EBays suggestion. Also a member can change his/her ID every 30 days if desired.

I'll try that- BUT I have tried that before and all I seem to get is their current email address not their old name. Maybe I have missed it.

Click on the shades icon next to their name, you are then prompted for your Ebay ID and password. After your info is entered, you will see their previous user ID's.
