When AuctionWatch had their multi-day outage several weeks ago, I tried GoTo.com to help me get through those lost days. Although I was extremely leary of coming back to AuctionWatch because I had lost SO much work, I came back. (I can't explain it--loyalty?) Well, I continued to launch a few items with GoTo.com until their fee service was announced. I'm not saying I wouldn't pay a fee, but I, personally, would consider AuctionWatch first, although I think they did do some irreparable damage when their site was down last and not posting updates quickly enough or at all for that matter. However, I did not sign on with any of the new GoTo's auction manager options or picture hosting.

Well, in today's mail, I received an unexpected GoTo Auctions "Seller Gifts" package. The USPS priority box was so badly damaged, that my local branch made sure it was stamped to say, "Hey, we received it this way!"

Inside this package are: stickers with the GoTo Auctions logo (looks like address labels but haphazardly stacked), some Post It Notes, again with GoTo's logo, a pad of preprinted seller slips to put into your package to thank the buyer AND remind him to leave you feedback, a Stamps.com CD, AND a whole roll of packing tape marked in black GoTo Auctions Made Simple.

Any other nonmembers receive this seller package?

AuctionWatch! Please KEEP your money and don't copy this idea. It would be a poor waste of money used better elsewhere. Although I was running low on scrap paper.

I received my sellers package, the next month I received another. Neither Priority box was damaged in any way.
The month after that they sent a t-shirt! All this for posting one auction a few months ago.
I wouldn't use their service again because when my one auction ended, it was lost on their site. No record of it at all. I'm glad I had auctionwatch to send the winning bidder notice, ect.
I do use the tape and labels when I ship out of the US and can't use the free Priority mail stuff.
