This is an auction that I canceled, cause it broke, and was wondering if you would critique it for me. I made up my own template with html and was wondering if it was ok or not? Anyone? Thanks so much in advance!

Hi Kelly,
I like your auctions.
Actually, I checked out your purses and camera bags cause I happen to be looking for one right now. The only suggestions I would make are to include the measurements and be very specific regarding condition; ie. are there any stains, tears in the lining, etc.
Also your wallpaper on your about me page makes your auction listings a bit hard to read, but I suppose people could just use the regular link. I use Netscape so I don't know if that makes a difference.
I also love your roses.

I like the wallpaper on the about me page. I don't like rolling marquees in the auctions. They tend to be too busy for me, drawing my eyes away from the actual item. That is just my personal opinion though.

Looks good. You can speed up the display by adding HEIGHT and WIDTH attributes to your IMG tags. Especially if you are using tables. Good quality pics!

Very nice looking auctions!

Only thing I would mention: it appears that your images are around 95 in size? I always try to keep mine under 40 (& hopefully under 30 if I can), so folks on 56k modems don't sit there in a daze!

Many free programs out there to DECREASE the load of your images -- check out

www.spinwave.com

for one such program!

Thanks everyone for your comments.

gettingcloserBelieve it or not, I was getting ready to pack it, and I was up all night long. My dog came in and I trip over her, and the cookie jar flew out of my hands. I was sick! So I hurried and canceled the auction.

BlondeSenseThanks for telling me to include measurements, never even thought about that! Thanks!

twinsoftNot sure what you mean by this: "adding HEIGHT and WIDTH attributes to your IMG tags." Can you elaborate a little bit? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me how to compress my graphics so they load faster without descreasing the size? Thanks again everyone!

<<Above is my ebay watchdogs! LOL
I have been cleaning out my closets, and thought I would give the world a chance to buy them.>>

I'm not sure..are you selling the watchdogs or the closets? I think I would re-word the sentence. I'd like to sell my closets (or are you selling the stuff inside them?), and then I wouldn't have to worry about cleaning them out!

I'm also not sure what we are loking at that broke..I don't see anything broken.

Adding geight and width of picture means looking up the PROPERTIES of your pic, and including them in your img link:

<img src="http://www.xxxxxx/xxxxxxx/Shosh/NipponVaseB.jpg" width="356" height="397">
