What's being done in the name of direct marketing nowadays is crazy.
The above are all just my opinions, except where I cite facts as such.
Oh, I am not dc9a320 anywhere except AW. Any others are not me.
Is eBay is changing from a world bazaar into a bizarre world?

The story says:
The program is staffed by 15 full-time employees. For software sales alone, the company has two full-time lawyers devoted to fraud prevention, as well as a software-industry liaison and a special e-mail queue for industry complaints.
and that:
The new program has removed about 12 listings per day for software, movies, music and other copyright content since it began in December, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

This is such crap I can't believe that any reporter would fall for it. Even when the eBay "lawyers" are notified with SPECIFIC details concerning obvious copyright infringement, including the name and address of the copyright holder so they can do their own "investigation", they don't do anything.
Any why would they? Every time they end an auction for any reason, they have to refund the listing fees and lose the selling fees. Where do you think the money comes from to pay their quasi-lawyers
Yahooooo is Number 1 in spin doctoring ... looks like eBay is running a close 2nd.
