Ever heard of a mark which is a Bee in the
letter V to identify a Hummel? or anything else? Appreciate any insight.

Why yes.....we have heard of that.

Go to the web and do a searchfor these things. There will surely be somewhere a site tht explains the 5 [or is it 6] marks that are used to ID the Hummels. they are referred to 1 st mark, secondmark, etc., etc.

Now...as to pricing....unless quite rare as a rule of thumb do not expect [IMHO] more than about 25 to 50% of "book" value. As there are so many of these things around.....condition is paramount, crazing counts and not as an enhancement.

Good luck

I didn't bookmark it, and can't find the hard copy right now, but a while back I was researching a mark from the 50's, I believe I just put in 'hummel marks' and got a site that listed all of them with the coordinating years. Hope that helps.
