I was kinda of wondering the same thing myself, guys. Especially after Pattayler specifically approved it as non-promotional.
I can only guess that now that AW is actually going to start CHARGING for image hosting services, my post became retroactively promotional.
As for fatcow.com itself, it is still alive and well and I am enjoying the heck out of having my own domain name.

S-o-o-o-o... it did disappear. Too bad – there was a lot of good information there.
Last night I sent their customer service a question:
“If I sign up am I allowed to host images that will be accessed by my (ebay) auctions on the 100 MB of space?”
This morning I had a reply:
“[i]Yes, you can use the space for whatever you'd like.

Barry, and ain't that tech support GREAT!!  They are so prompt, it almost makes me want to think up something to ask just for the sheer joy of asking..... . I was wondering if we could use them for hosting ebay pics....since we paid for it I figured it was ours to do with as we please pretty much. Thanks for that info. Pam

Gee, I guess I should feel grateful that when the powers that be decided that my thread was retroactively promotional they only deleted it instead of suspending my posting priviledges.
Of course, what I actually feel about the situation is a different matter....
