Question on ebud, noticed that occasionally we send out a congratulations letter, and it actually didn’t put “Congrats Sent” in box. Is it possible that maybe when we opened the program later on, and it did not say “Congrats Sent”, is it possible that the data file wasn’t saved. Just curious if you folks have problems with Auction Submit not changing the status to what it should be. Such as, when a congratulations email is sent, it would say, “Congrats Sent”. As it stands now, occasionally it is left blank even after we send that email out. It gets pretty confusing when you know you’ve sent the email out, but the status shows a blank box. Or shows something that is not correct. It’s still a pretty good program though, it’s probably going pretty hard to beat.

This problem can occur when you export items to the ebud.txt. Any time there is a slight error in exporting, and recent transactions, ie, congrats sent, payment received, etc, have been done in the same session, the status can go blank. If I'm going to export old items, I always close ebud to save any recent transactions and then start up again, just to handle the exporting of the items.

I have had ENDLESS problems trying to update eBud, I can't not get the later updates to take effect and the whole program for me is useless now. I have had eBud from day one, and this is the first time I have not been able to get any of the updates to take effect, is anyone else having problems????

Fortunately I also have AuctionTamer, and am now relying on it for all my auction records, including eBay since I can't get eBud updated.

I finally got all of the updates but now when I load ebud I get that "oh-oh" sound and when I choose "update", a pop up says "invalid user". I click on OK and then it updates. Gets pretty annoying.

I installed 2.70 over 2.69 this AM and everything went perfectly. I've never had a problem downloading and installing the software from Auctiva and I wish that all of my downloads were half as easy! Also, I'm glad to hear that the "oh-oh" error is real and that I haven't been hallucinating!
