As a seller I have had nothing but the best of luck with BidPay and would highly recommend it. There are no fees to the seller. You receive the Western Union money order VERY quickly.

The only downside that I know of is that the buyer pays $5 per transaction so, for many sales that might not be a viable choice for them. On the other hand, the international buyers tend to really appreciate it because they are not generally able to purchase a money order and mail it to the U.S. for that cost.

I give Bidpay very high marks. What I like is that my customers can use it, but I don't have to register with Bidpay myself. They send you two e-mails, one telling you the customer has ordered that payment be sent to you, the other one telling you that the payment has been confirmed and that the money order is on the way. All you have to do is wait for it to arrive in the mail.

i've used it several times, including recommending it to customers. It always works very well. I offer to ship upon receipt of the BidPay email, not wait for the MO to arrive. Combined with the Global Priority option, this can easily get an item in an international buyer's hands within a few days of the end of auction.

I don't know what they charge for doing it, but bidpay Express Mailed a money order for an Europian buyer of mine a while back. Auction went off Sunday Night, I had a Money Order Tuesday.

Just last week, a customer paid me by Bidpay. When it didn't show up in my account, I emailed Bidpay to inquire. Had a response the next morning. The customer had made a mistake on my email address . They fixed it and sent my money order by priority mail. Bidpay has my highest recommendation.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Oh yes, they are great. I love it when a customer uses it. And the best part is there are no worries about chargebacks.

BidPay is great--in fact I just got one of their MOs in the mail today. I always ship the item out on receipt of the second confirmation email without waiting for the MO to arrive (which it always does within 3-7 days).

I highly recommend having a BIDPAY logo on your site. They are fast and reliable and it's usually used by the international bidders, rarely by North Americans.

They refuse to send the money order to the correct address, I only received it because the post office knows the correct address. In my experience, when the buyer enters the correct address, and when I have registered the correct address, BidPay automatically sends it to the wrong address. I have sent them repeated e-mails and they refuse to fix it, they won't admit they used a wrong address, and just gave me snotty replies to my requests to correct the address.
But you get what you pay for in this world. It's free to sellers, and sellers get no customer service.
