I've been visiting the web sites of liquidators and getting on their mailing lists. I'm looking for consumer electronics.

Liquidators seem to fall into two categories. Those that sell large quantities of specific items at terrible prices. And those that sell pallets of a collection of items where you only have a vague idea of what is in the pallet and what conditon they are in.

Is the only way to buy from a liquidator by actually going to their premises and inspecting the goods. Or do people actually buy these pallets and just hope for the best?
