One buyer bid on 4 of my auctions totaling $800 worth of merchandise. She had great feedback, but then it started going downhill. She won the auctions nearly a month ago. She started getting some negatives for non payment. She had eight negatives for nonpayment when she got NARU'd. She had a final rating of 172. When I checked the other day, she had a rating of 181, but she is still NARU'd. I didn't know you could still leave feedback for a NARU'd member.

She answers my emails, says she is going to pay, she is just behind on her paperwork. Last week she said she finally had my auctions in her stack to pay. When the money didn't come, I emailed her to see if she sent it and she said she is behind because her friend has cancer and she's been at the hospital all the time and she accidentally sent payment twice on several auctions because she is disorganized. She says she is reorganizing and paying via the date the auction ended.

I'm not really sure how to handle this. I want to believe her and her past feedback indicates that she was a great payer. I don't know what to do. How long do you wait for a bidder to pay before you file a NPB?

When she got NARU'd, she was the high bidder on over 100 auctions.

Some advice would be appreciated.

As far as I know, you can't leave feedback for a NARUed person. You didn't say how long it had been, but I would probably give her a while longer to pay. UNLESS this was one of those items that was really sought after and the bidding was hot and heavy. In those situations I'm less inclined to wait very long on payment. Give them 10 days and move on to the 2nd highest bidder.

Relist your items, file for your fees. You are dealing with a deadbeat. Time to move on.
