Just got an email from a Canadian Buyer that he just got his package. Airmail to Canada is suppose to take 4 to 7 days, but it took 16. Who's post office is to blame for this crap?

Canada Post was closed on good Friday and easter Monday. Also, if this item was crossing anywhere near the eastern part of Canada, I can tell you security at the border is very tight presently. I'm guessing that slows thing down a bit. It's because of that summit in Quebec city. They are checking everybody and everything crossing the US-Canada border like they rarely have.

I mailed a auction payment from Mich over 8 days ago. They still have not gotten it. The seller is getting a littl upset about it. I don't know what to tell him.

I had a Global Priority Mail package take two months from Indiana to just north of the Michigan/Canada border. Thank God for patient and trusting customers! : )

We paid $25.00 to send a record Air to England (with signature request and insured) three weeks ago...Still waiting...I know the buyer must think I am full of it, and it is a $200.00 Billpoint sale...sigh

Hi:

I am an eBay seller in Ontario, Canada and just received 5 payments from US today, they were all stamped on 04/09/01. Unfortunately it is not unusual for US Air Mail to take 10 - 14 days to arrive here, sometimes even longer.

This past month has been awful for mail. Tax time is busier than Christmas for most post offices. As for airmail, one thing that I was told, was that airmail goes on a space available basis. Just because you dropped it off at the post office, doesn't mean it will go right out. Especially during Spring Break and Easter when air travel is at its busiest. I have two packages AWOL in Texas this past week. I normally will have maybe 1/1000 go missing. Must just be that time of year.

If that's how long it takes, fine, but the USPS should change the information on the web page. Buyers can get ants in the pants, if you know what I mean.

Thank god for postmarks, the buyer on this was VERY nice when he told me he had gotten it.

It works going the other direction too.

I sent a package airmail to Nevada, which took nineteen days before it was delivered.

With every auction I let every winner know that once I receive payment, it can be two weeks or longer before they get their goods.

Usually it is at least ten days before their payment even makes it to Canada. I'm two hours from the Michigan border and still waiting for a payment allegedly mailed on the 6th from somewhere in in that state.
