I really need an expert to help here: when submitting an auction w/ AW, every time I hit the back button if I made a mistake it comes back w/ a new blank page (old way to launch). I checked my settings like it says, and I have checked "check for new versions...every time you start IE". They say not to check "every visit to the page". It still does it EVERY TIME and I'm beginning to look like Telly Savalis. Is there a simple cure for this maddening effect? Does it happen to anyone else out there? Befuddled in Wyoming...arrrgghhh

Was this already checked or did you have to make a change?

If a change was made, it is necessary for you to close and then relaunch your browser before the change will take effect.

This may sound time consuming but it works well for me. After you have completed even part of the auction listing, save it into your pending auctions. Then pull it back up and make needed corrections, then save again. I also save it before I do ebay preview and launch. That way, if the server goes down I don't have to redo the entire auction.

Rule # 1 when working in Auction Manager "NEVER TOUCH THE BACK BUTTON". Always use the internal links. Your problem has nothing to do with your browser settings, but rather with the way AM software is set up. Actually, you are lucky if the worst you have experienced is just a bunch of lost work. The biggest danger in using the back button is a duplicate auction launch. If you need to back up to edit something, click the save button, return to the control panel, select your saved auction from the pending section and then edit it.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
