Thanks!

Hi there. I have had several customers use this payment service and I LOVE IT! Fast, easy and FREE so far! No complaints here.

You can find more about it here:

http://www.moneyzap.com

Edited to add: I believe when they start charging, the fee will go to whoever initiates a transaction through them.

Hi, I also have it and its a great service. I wish more of my customers would use it..........I even made up a small gif the size of paypals from their money zap logo to try and get buyers to notice it....If anyone wants to use the logo, feel free and I will post it here....just please link it to your server.....Thanks, Pam

I've had a couple customers use it. I like it, although it can take up to three days for the money to actually end up in your account for you to transfer to your bank because they do make sure the CC is valid, unstolen, etc. The security is worth the wait, in my mind.

I used it, and it took a couple of days for the transaction to change from "Pending" to "Completed".

Just tell the buyer that you will ship AFTER the money clears.

Love it! Works very well and FREE! I got a logo from the website that takes the customer right to my account to pay so they don't have to input a bunch of extra stuff.

EG April 21, 2001 06:23:27 AM Hi there. I have had several customers use this payment service and I LOVE IT! Fast, easy and FREE so far! No complaints here.

EG April 23, 2001 06:14:11 PM Well, MoneyZap is now in the same boat as Paypal as far as I'm concerned. I will no longer promote them in my auctions and I will be closing my account as well.

From prince to frog in less than 60 hours. The divorce rate is high in the life of internet services.

uaru: MoneyZap lied about their service. I did not change anything. They lied just like Paypal did. I supported them until I received their notice in today's mail. That does not make me a "frog". But your true colors are certainly showing through.

EG, my apologies, I didn't mean to refer to you as a 'frog' I was commenting on how fast a service can fall out of favor. Western Union is the one I was commenting on changeing from a Prince to a Frog.

If you'll re-read my post you might see I was in no way calling you a 'frog'.

Thanks, Uaru, apology accepted. When I saw you had posted only 2 of my previous posts (1 for and then 1 against Money Zap) I thought you were referring to me as the frog. Thanks for clearing that up.

Well, at the risk of bringing everyones wrath down upon my head.........The way I see it going is FREE is going to be a thing of the past for internet services. I think many of us who have been on here a long time just got used to free and its just not going to continue. And as the dot.coms....dot bomb its going to get worse. I don't mind paying for a service if I get the service. Money Zap has a fantastic security system in place and I feel a lot safer with it. ALthough nothing is totally secure. At any rate, It was always my understanding that eventually money zap would charge so I was not surprised, maybe I read it wrong to begin with but thats what I saw happening eventually. Free is just not going to be there for services...its as simple as that.......I like paypal, I like moneyzap and I have no problem paying for their service....I see it as a "convenience charge"....And having priced several merchant accounts they look even better....Pam
