Hello All:
How do you add a second category when you are starting an auction on eBay? Can you add a second category after the auction has started? If it has a bid on it, can you still add a second category? Thanks for any help! Joe

I believe you can only change the category. It does not matter if there are bids or not. The second category has to be chosen at the time the auction is listed.

Well, I'd respectfully disagree with morgantown. Although paying the extra $$ isn't exactly fun, I love the counter totals I get on auctions that I choose to list in two categories.
This is done on a very selective basis, and always for a specific reason. Selling, universally, is about exposure, and if I can get double the exposure (or better) by listing in two categories, it's well worth the extra few cents.

My beef with ebay is that you can't list dutch auctions in 2 categories (without listing 2 separate auctions). Does anyone know why this is? I have thought about it ad I can't come up with any reason whatsoever why dutch auctions shouldn't be allowed a double listing. Am I missing something?
