I'm an International Seller and I use CC Now services to accept credit card payments.
I have a week now since I cannot send a single email invoice to my ebay high bidders and here is why.
Last week Ebay has reconfigured their database/record keeping programs and did not announced CC Now Company about this at all. Therefore CC Now affiliate programs are not synchronized anymore with Ebay database and the ebay auction item # cannot be found.
CC Now technical Personnel is trying to find a solution but my worst fear is that this move was made on purpose so that Ebay will became the only one that can tell us who can we use as a third party credit cards processor or force us to use Billpoint. As any International Seller knows when you have the misfortune to live in a Eastern European country you can't use any company they want. You are not aloud to register at Pay Pal, Billpoint, C2it and some others. CC Now was the only truly International one and now this possibility is gone. I think ebay did that because Amazon.com Auction could not impose it's policy to force the auction sellers use Amazon.com Payments just by announcing this to them and the share opposition has defeated them. So I guess ebay is doing this the silent way just by doing it and telling people about it afterwards. I'm going to lose 50% of my clients because of this because I live in Romania and no one lets me register to their credit card payment services. This is unfair to say the very least. And most of all we are not being told about it. If any one has the same problem or knows anything about it please make your voice heard. And if any one has found a solution please let us all know about it. I think that when I say I'm desperate I speak for more then myself!
I'll be waiting for your messages!
Yours sincerely,

catalinb - I have used CCNOW myself, and I must tell you it was no big loss for me to stop using them. I found them to be a bottom of the barrel service.
I do hope it all works out for you though
Best Wishes

I use CCnow on my website because I like their shopping cart system. The 9 %^ take on both product and shipping is a little high and when I have the "spare" time I will probably look for something better. That NOT being paypal of course.
Anyway I have taken notice that CCNow tech team isn't all the bright. The other ones adapted that run programs through Ebay. The auction software I use auctionsubmit even had to do a brief update. Now if a free auction software program can update quickly because of the changes happening on ebay then why not a company that is pulling in 9% of the sales that others make.

Tracey, It's been what? 2 years since ccnow promised a advanced shipping method. It's a shopping cart for crying out loud, people tend to buy more than 1 item. How can I guess at shipping. Tech guys arn't bright, is an understatement.
However an easy to use system never had a problem.
Original poster. You may not be able to pull up the actual auction but you should still be able to send an invoice. although a little more work. Yes I too believe ebay wants to be a 1 stop mecca for all services but you do have work arounds

The idea of Ebay trying to force their own payment plan is ridiculous. The entire idea of the online auction service is SIMPLY a means to connect buyer and seller, and make a (tiny) bit of money in the process. We keep hearing great things in the paper about Ebay, but they forget who is necessary to keep the system working: US! The SELLERS!!

Oh, really? Is that why you HAVE TO sign up for Billpoint in order to open an ebay storefront? They may not be forcing it yet, but just wait. Incremental steps -- see how much they can get away with.

I just used CCNOW to send an Amex invoice to a customer. Seems to work just fine for me. Perhaps it is fixed now?

The object of eBay is not to connect buyer and seller; it is to separate as much as feasible the buyer and seller. The seller to eBay is a slave drop shipper.
What eBay does value is the buyers, the buyers are what eBay "sells" to large retailers, not sellers.
