I received several (at least 6) emails from bidpay, telling me the winner had chosen to send MO thru them. I was not registered. One said money order had been sent, another said it had been denied, two or three reminded me to register so I could confirm. I did that. One even said MO sent, if I wanted to go ahead and ship!!! After I registered and confirmed, in sellers area, the money order had been STOPPED!! ALL of the emails I received from them were within minutes of each other. I have contacted the winner, but what is up with this?? Anyone experience this before? Why would the MO have been stopped?

That's scary, because I usually ship on receipt of the second email indicating MO mailed.
Keep us posted.

I'm not sure what might have happened; I've always found BidPay to be very reliable. BUT...I NEVER ship until the MO is in my hot little hand...no matter what the e-mails say!

Luckily, all the emails arrived one right after another, so, no I did not ship the item and wouldnt anyway...I am still waiting for an explanation from the winner, and Bidpay says they cancelled the payment because winner failed to provide them with my mailing address (??) I hope this aint gonna be a drag-on-for-a-month type deal!

I too use bidpay and have no problems with them, but I too do not ship until the MO is in my hot little hands either and I say so in my TOS.

I have a buyer right now insisting that I ship today, but I didn't, am waiting til it arrives. First he wanted to use Billpoint which I don't take due to charge back risk, it's a high dollar item, and then he said he could only send Travelers Checks and he is in Korea, but I made him stick to my TOS which is Bidpay, International Postal MO or Cash. He finally used Bidpay, but I'll be darned if I'll ship until it arrives, I have smelled scam all over the place until the email from Bidpay came and even now I am skeptical.

I've used Bidpay for quite awhile now. The only trouble I've even had was one time, they didn't send me a second email notice, but I shipped when it arrived. I did recieve a MO from them for an order without any notice, but it's also possible the bidder didn't get my email addy correct, which would cause that to happen.
