I have been a Seller and Buyer on Ebay for 4 years now. My user ID is also my e-mail address. I have gotten so tired of all the SPAM I get...That I am thinking of changing my User-ID to one that cannot be "Harvested" by Spammers.
My question is: If I change my User-ID will my Feedback change over as well? (I have over 700 Positives and worked hard to get them.) I wouldn't want to have to start all over at this point.

Go ahead and change your ID. Your feedback will go with you. You will have to wear shades for 30 days though but other than that it's business as usual.

i opened 7 new accounts in the same week and the spam took less than 24 hours to start coming in. Why did i open 7 new accts, well thats an entirely different thread...but i can say, from personal experience, if you open it they will come...it being a new acct, they being spammers.........the amount will only increase as the days pass.
