Well since the A4A seem to be cutting into everyones living and the ability to pay their bills, I found something that is working for me and quite nicely. I am listing ALL of my auctions with BIN, except the ones that always do good no matter what. The hot sellers, even if taken for the opening bid, are a good profit, so they stay the same, but all the rest are BIN and they are hitting like hotcakes. Also put like items together for a lot, and slap a BIN price on it. You may be pleasantly surprised!! So before you throw in the towel, do a bunch of BIN'S give people ideas why they need this item and things to do with it, and let's see how well it will work for you. Come on back and let us know how you are doing.

packer> I sell things for the house so maybe you could sell glassware and something nice to go with it like a 2 tiered serving tray? A Candy dish? A serving bowl? Lots of my things are breakable too, and I double box, use bubble wrap, foam and peanuts and no one complains on the shipping because they want to get it in one piece. They appreciate the careful packing. How about a nice set of dishes, one place setting at a time with a glass to go with it? Complimentary pieces. This grouping thing is working for me right along with the BINS. Just diversify a bit to get over this bump in the road. Good luck!

Packer, sweetie, it's "burdensome". www.dictionary.com is a useful site when the kids have taken my dictionary.
Furkidmom is right about BIN. It usually works great for me. The past couple of weeks have been junk, but that's been discussed enough already. I'm taking another couple of weeks off. Working on my photos......
By the way, Packer,....since you're not busy right now, why don't you start a thread to teach us how you manage to photograph your glassware so beautifully? You're my photo hero.
