I got an email a while ago today that said half.com tried to make my direct deposit to my checking account and it failed (this was my first one, I had a check issued last month). I went in and reverified my information (routing number and checking account number) and it was right according to my checking account checks. So I called my bank and they did some research for me. They found that the money was attempted to be deposited on the 22nd and they tried to put it in an account with a "1" instead of a "7". The account with a "1" was closed (thank god) so they sent the deposit back to half.com. I sent them an email letting them know that I updated my information (even though it wasn't wrong) so now I wonder...how long will I have to wait for my deposit? Has anyone had this happen?

I'd give them a call - they have phone customer support that is excellent.. UHm.. Darn I don't have the # with me.. I called them about a missing item, and they were very friendly and helpful in answering my questions.
Too bad their losing their jobs in the Ebay merge. *sigh*
Anyone, someone give him the phone #, that'll speed things up tremendously.

Found it again (Man, I'm getting luck when looking for things today.. )
"I've never had this situation before but you can call half to discuss it with them. The phone number is: 1-888-879-4253. I called a couple of weeks ago to address a feedback problem and believe it or not the CS rep was wonderful."

You are wonderful! Thank you!
I just got off the phone with them ~ yes it's a true number ~ and they said (in case anyone else needs to know this) that the direct deposit system tries to redirect deposit the money on a daily basis when an account is updated. So the lady said that it will try and redeposit tomorrow and it should accept it.
