4 plus years ago, i found ebay; i then went thru a uncertain time b4 i took the ebay plunge; life was good (all be it was hard but good)good money, fun job great life; left my government job for ebay...developed new friends (here) new circles (standing in lines at estate sales)...what a trip!!
starting last spring i started seeing prices dropping more dramatically than i have ever seen them drop....same story for the summer; i survived the summer, but all the while had to start supplementing my ebay income with 'real' jobs...(temporary ones but jobs)then 9/11....my life as i have known it (as well as many others lives) changed and changed dramatically....my sales are no longer the main bread winner in our home....the store, house and car that we purchased based on our great ebay income are close to being taken away....bankruptcy is in the works......sleepless nights no longer seem to matter....they are just part of the day; i can no longer go to those great sales....as i have no money to spend at them....the harder i try to list to make more money the less money comes in.....NOW, the one forum that has been my support, my shoulder to cry on, to rave at, to celebrate with is leaving....i really am very sad...
and certainly don't know how to go on from here....this place was probably the only bit of help, support, craziness all rolled into one....sorry to sound so depressed....but this forum was a major part of my ebay business...don't even know where i can begin to replace this or ebay....good luck to you all

Save me a spot! Here's the mantra- "Put the pickle on the burger shove it in a little further"... feel free to add on to the mantra.

I would sooner flip burgers than give stuff away on ebay. McDonalds does have full time, and here they start at $6.25 an hour. I have a good friend that works at burger king and she loves it. She is a manager and makes $8.00 an hour. I think many people are going back to the real world.
