I am no longer going to accept bids from ANYONE with private feedback. Burned twice. What a sucker I am!! I went to vrane to check this persons selling history (since I can't view their BUYING history) and whoa!!!! Oh, man....that's all I can say.
This person finally did pay me 28 days later, and I had already re-listed and sold the item. But believe me, I tried to contact this person several times, WITH NO RESPONSE. So what's a seller to do? Relist! Right....
Thought it was all over until I got the NEG tonight..... ugh.
Well, I'll just chalk this one up to experience and no more private feedback bidders for us.

I agree with you. if their feedback is unwarranted then ebay should remove it, not allow it to become private.
If they have something to hide, why should we want to do business with them?
I had one buyer who's feedback was private, he paid with paypal under another id and wanted the item shipped to a third name. whoa was I worried.
I asked for an explanation before I would ship and he fully explained. everything turned out fine and we both left positive feedback, but it was way too stressful. Never again.
