Show airing in N.Y.C. to begin with should go coast to coast later on...Something E-bay has never Done!!!! Talk about support!!! They have live chat with support... Its fabulous...No Listing fee's a Final value fee if item sells...I'm a seller like the rest of you Who would like to have a place beside's e-bay to sell....I have no financial interest in this site Just hope it can get of the ground the people there are very nice and helpful....Take a look

Registered with Gruvo a couple of weeks ago, was interested in their TV show and listing items on it till I read to list on the show was $500.00. But I'm still going to give them a try, haven't had a chance to list yet.

Yeah the advertise your item on there show is kind of steep but it also includes prodution of the ad if you cant produce it yourself.
$500 is pretty low cost for tv advertizeing to 2 or 3 hundered thousand people and will even be a better deal when the show goes global or country wide on cable.
not to mention even for them who can't have the tv ads the show is still advertizeing the auction site weekly..

I just went and previewed GRUVO - and for me - FORGET IT!
I only use smaller auctions IF, they allow links to my web site, and they are free. When an auction site is growing, often the only benefit to posting there at all is to get a bit of traffic to your web site - without that I am not interested in this site. They already have endless rules about what type of links you can have, the size of such, etc!
PLUS, I read all their rules and regulations, and they are nuts - eBay can get away with being a tyrant, but not a new auction site - forget it - you can keep GRUVO.

I use one small nitch auction house, which not only allows links to one's web site, they show newbies how to do it. PLUS, this particular site provides a goodly number of sales. I love their attitude, and they are free to post on.

Who needs a new, unknown auction site, with an attitude and rules such as eBay! DUH! Not I.

I have been getting emails from them for the past two months and I thought it was just a hoax. Well, I will have to take a look but I am happy where I am so I will stay.

These Gruvo guys have been sling'n Spam all over the net. I received several unwanted porn style emails hyping their new site. Low Class and a very poor way to entice people to their site. Dont bother.
