At last, a change in MY favor! Citibank's c2it just announced they are free for both buyers and sellers. Plus, they have an unlimited $5 referral bonus. It took them a while to figure out what we need, but at least it is here.

This is great considering the new fees for Yahoo! PayDirect and the whole BP/PP debate.

Say what you like about their site being slow (it is) and the requirement for a SSN (hey, they are a bank + maybe this will cut down on fraud and chargebacks). I don't care. Free is a good price and if I can encourage buyers to use it, I will.

I have been using c2it seen July! It has always been free to the receiver of money. And It was free for the first 90 days to the sender when I first signed up.

Yes they are slow and the BIGGEST complains I hear is that new people can not register. They get errors over and over again. BUT I too do not pay to get paid!

Other problems I have is when I claim the payment it says FAILED as my confirmation number but it moves the payment to my account, go figure!

FREE is always good UNTIL they change it!

The only reason C2it dropped the fees for now is so they can institute them again later in a workable business model. They won't repeat their bonehead mistake of charging the buyer, the fees will be on the seller instead of the buyer.

If any want to bet against that I'll be more than happy to take your wager (and your money.)

I think you're probably right, Uaru. I don't like it, but I won't bet against you!
