Dealers in antiques and collectibles used to be able to use Lyle or Kovel books as a guide to priceing- EBAY has caused these books to be outdated before they reach the book stores since so many prices are determined by what an item sold for on EBAY on any given day-The completed search catagory was a great help in determining prices so they took it away-I can't wait to see what good thing they are going to take away next, although there are so few left shouldn't be too hard to figure- It's a lttle like the old Chinese water torture- one drip at a time-

The completed items search is still there.I used it a few mins ago.

Clancey99: Check your next standard search response again. The left side of your screen under the current category listings lists the link for completed auctions.

some of the price guides prices are unrealistic,just like the antique road shows.
now they have UK antique road show,wait till they go into china.
