Well I got my first chargeback today. Billpoint claims that someone other than the cardholder authorized the charge (I don't see how this is possible, considering that the entire Billpoint system is password protected), the cardholder disputed it and now I'm out the money plus $10.00--even though I have proof of delivery!! What amazes me is that this "person" whoever it is is still bidding on items on eBay. I contacted Safeharbor and they won't do anything about it--suggested I contact the police where the buyer lives--like they would have the time or inclination to investigate this--GET REAL!! Anyway, if anyone has any ideas on how to get my money, I'd love to hear them!! Happy Thanksgiving!!

This may not be worth anything, but I would try contacting the person.See if you can convince them to send the item back to you since you have proof that they received it.Even if you have to pay the return postage. Since they bid on it, paid for it, then got their money back,to keep it would be the same as stealing. See what kind of responce if any they give you. Keep all email's your's and their's. The responce they give may be something you could take to the police! Be cool about it don't let them think you are trying to get something to hang them with!

sending the item back?that means they have lied to their cc company and will be prosecuted??
are you crazy, who wants to go to jail??
there is a thread called credit card fraud on andale discussion board ,someone received an 87 dollars chargeback from billpoint from a bidder who bidded on many items in october from different sellers, she is still bidding on ebay.
and there are some good advice on what to do.
may be it is the same bidder.
you could call her and try to reason with her,may be she knows who has been using her card, usps mail fraud is serious business, her local police will contact her once report is filed and no one wants to hear from their police.
