Hi. I'm in Southern California and we just had a "major" storm. LOL The word "flood" is used when a business has gotten their floor slightly wet. But anyway, I noticed that some of my payment checks had the address smeared. I'm thinking about clear taping all my labels during the rainy season. Hmmm... Do "waterproof" inkjet cartridges even exist?

I just had that same thought when I stepped outside and saw the beautiful, wonderful, peaceful rain (sorry, Washington native living in California, I actually miss rain). I think that only laser printers are truly waterproof. It'd be nice if they made clear labels to go over your regular labels just for waterproofing. I don't look forward to futzing with a bunch of tape.

Use a permanent Sharpie type marker and not a felt tip marker.

I actually bought some 5" wide tape and a dispenser to protect my e-Delivery Confirmation label/barcode printouts. As others have said, address inside, too, on thank you note.

The dispenser has an 8" long surface and dispenses tape face up. So I slap label on waiting tape, pull it out leaving an extra 3-4" at bottom, and this leaves enough tape that on the Priority VIdeo boxes it goes around the bottow, double sealing the infamous flap that is known to open.

Takes about two seconds.

Costs about .001 cent.
