The past month of so has been horrible for non-paying bidders for me.

I had to send out 3 more emails this morning. You the type, the "I haven't heard from you" kind.

These auctions did not end in the last 2 or 3 days. One of them on the 14th, one on the 15th and one the 3rd!

Meanwhile they are getting feedbacks of "fast payment"

Really? I find that hard to believe but maybe I just got lucky and they are paying everyone except me. LOL

By the way, everyone of them were 0 feedback bidders. I know, we all had 0 feedback at one time. This is why I have always liked 0 feedbacks because it used to mean that NEW people were out there to sell to. But to be honest, from now on I am afraid I am going to cringe every time I see that 0 feedback.

Has this been happening to any of you?

wonder if these xero feedback bidders of yours are alter userid of some veteran ebayers engaged in shill bidding.
i was recenty outbidded by a person who has zero feedback, registered a few years ago,he receives a positive feedback from the seller and has been dormant ever since.
sometimes sellers bidded on their own items to bring up the bid amount to a respectable level so they dont have to give away their merchandise/
i know shill bidding is not allowed.

I've had a couple that needed reminder emails - got the usual "I sent that off last week - I don't know what could have happened to it" excuse, followed by payment the following week. I'm also currently dealing with somebody who doesn't seem too keen on paying shipping (stated in the auction, and already a dollar short of what it will actually cost me to send it!). But I can safely say that none of these have been zero-feedback sellers. Two of them are in the less-than-ten feedback range, which I've always found to be more problematic than those at zero.

wowwow, why would you think that julie's high bidders are shills? Usually a shill bidder is either an account used by the seller or is somebody who is in cahoots with the seller. If julie were using a shill to bid her own auctions up, I'd think she'd know about it. It's possible that the person who outbid you was a shill, but I seriously doubt it in julie's case.

No this is definately not shilling, it is just rotten bidders. LOL

I guess it is okay to say rotten, if not, I am sorry, but that is the way it is!

The auctions unfortunately only got one bid, so I can't even offer to the second high bidder.

I have also gotten positive feedback from people who haven't even paid me yet. That usally means they aren't going to and hope that they don't get negged.

I told my husband just a few minutes ago that I think I should just stop selling for awhile. It seems that if I get bids, I never get paid anyway.

Oh well, thanks for letting me vent.
