Has anyone else had to send numerous win notices lately?

Just today I send my EOA's,some people pay, some send notes that they will pay..

12 hours later some of the people I sent EOA's to request a total via Ebay...sometimes two or three times (a few hours apart)...

Maybe I am way off base here, but this all seems to have started whe Checkout was introduced.

Anyone having a similar problem? Or is this just my dumb luck???

Yup, me too. I've got four currently with no response, no pay. One of which said she was waiting for some other auctions of mine to close... but that was well over 10 days ago and all of the auctions I had running that week already closed.

I'm crossing my fingers and sincerely hoping it's just a slow down due to the holiday, but.. well...

*grumble*

it's driving me batty. AW eoa goes out and I still keep getting the checkout requests for total from buyer. So I send my own EOA after that which usually takes care of the confusion.

my problem this past week has been bids. before that I had a 95% sell thru rate. This week i have 3 bids. where is everybody?

Hi- just wanted to add that my bids are way down as well. It's so quiet, it's eerie. Boy I hope it gets better!

I had a couple of people tell me my automatic EOA notices have been going to their bulk mail folder and they have been missing them. I think Yahoo is bad about that.

My sales are down about 75%. Not even any hits on Ebay on items that usually sell right away. Of the few things that do sell, most are selling with one bid. Is Ebay still open to the public? Is there still a buying public? Makes sitting at your computer and listing items seem like a real waste of time.

One thing I have noticed is that eBay's request for total for the check out system arrives in my email minutes after the auction ends, and yet the EOA notice from eBay arrives 6 to 24 hours after the auction ends.

Now how is it that the check out request for total can be so timely and the EOA notice takes hours to process ?

Actually my bids are better than average, but the deadbeats are much higher, i've got about a dozen late payers as we speak (18 days), none of which have responded to e-mails or the npb's, most have bewteen 6 and 47 feedback, ones a powerseller and in his auctions he demands payment in 7 days...he's got 3244 feedback 278 negs.

I am having a good month but as Raemond said the checkout comes right away and I have to wait for the EOA. When I receive the checkout notice, I immediately send my EOA, that is if I am home. I won a bid about a week ago and I received a notice I think from PayPal and their EOA. It was rather nice. Easy to do and everything included. Has anyone else used that? Also is there anyone in here that uses the ebay checkout. Is it worth the time and money to use that. I really don't want to take anything else but PayPal but it looks like the way things are going I will have to. I have no problems from PayPal. I really like their service. Any suggestions would be helpful.
