I bought Photoshop 5.5. and I just got sent Photoshop 3 deluxe CD with a 5.5 upgrade cd.
The Ebay seller says to return the item and he will refund. I do not have the serial number to the Photoshop 3 deluxe cd. He says if he emails the serial number I have to keep it. I really do not have time to purchase another one and wait until christmas is over with. I need it before christmas. I do not mind having to upgrade. But is there a difference between the deluxe version and the complete version. If anyone know anything please, please help!!!

It's probably Photodeluxe by Adobe: the low cost version of Photoshop. I use Photodeluxe to crop, lightly process my scans, and then convert scans to jpg. It runs $40 or so from Adobe, but Photoshop 6.0 runs $600+.
There may be an upgrade path from Photodeluxe to Photoshop, but you'd have to poke around in the Adobe website or know someone to be sure what you really got. I kind of doubt you can upgrade from Photodeluxe to Photoshop, however.
